Willow Decor: Chappaquiddick Boat House

What a dream home. I love when people turn unusual buildings into practical homes. This smaller home was originally a boat storage building and would fit the needs of two people and guests just fine. The seating in the kitchen is flexible enough to accommodate all needs with lots of different level seating with comfy cushions for late breakfasts and long dinners. Notice that the entry ways from one room into the next are huge making them handicap accessible with out saying it in the design. The natural light through out the whole house could turn any depressed person into a happy go lucky person. The porch seating area is where I would spend most of my time. The only obstacle I notice is the long set of stairs leading down to the house. I am not sure if it is possible to have a driveway down to the house or not. The home owner could do a San Fransisco style ramp. With the height of the hill the ramp would have to back track several times but if flowers lined this smooth walk way then it would be a nice appealing walk and make carry groceries and luggage with a wagon down to the house much easier. Check it out. I think you will like it as much as I do.
